Come learn the story of Jerome. We will travel down a narrow peninsula, and at a scenic beach learn and experience the tale of Jerome, which has mystified residents and researchers for more than a hundred years!
Warning! You will find part of his story shocking. Also, this is an outdoor event and there is a short beach walk. Be prepared for any weather, and walking in sand.

We will also: visit a replica of the home of Maud Lewis, a local artist who was vastly under-appreciated in her time, but whose works evoke the colourful spirit of the area. The house itself creates wonder in all who see it.
View the living style through the centuries, as we pass 100 or more year-old farms and fishing villages along the way to a beautiful village perched on the narrow waist of land between two deep water coves, one bobbing with lobster boats and the other boasting a magnificent beach and where I'll tell you about the amazing structure you will see just offshore: an ancient form of fishing still in practice. Perhaps it will be in operation when we are there!
In another village, we can either motor up Tommy's Branch to see the "Lovins Tree" and stretch our legs to the Look Off, which has a panoramic view of Little River; or, we can go down to the wharf, and see what's bitin' off the pier.
East Ferry represents the end of the peninsula of Digby Neck, but it's definitely not the end of the world. There are two islands, just a ferry ride away, that will totally encaptivate you! (you will see what I mean, when you select the Islands Hopping Tour for another fascinating experience). In the meantime, it's coffee, tea and snack time at Passages Cafe, where you can sit outside and soak in the invigorating salt air, or sit inside and taste test some particularly Maritime treats- or do both!
On the way back, we will travel through Digby sightseeing through the lovely town with its many interesting boats and shops.
